Last Time: A Psychic Medium Speaks to Those We Have Loved
and Lost
John Edward
Amazon.com Looking back, John Edward now sees the early signs
that he was destined to become an acclaimed psychic and medium.
"There were times when I knew things I shouldn't have known,"
he writes. "Simple things like who was coming over, or who
was on the phone." He knew events in family history that no
one had told him about. He was inexplicably fascinated with
television characters that possessed supernatural powers.
He'd see auras around schoolteachers and hear voices that
whispered true information in his mind. Eventually his gifts
expanded into hearing the names of spirits "who'd gone to
the other side." Finally, as a teenager Edward began to claim
rather than question his psychic abilities and committed his
life work to pursuing and learning about his gifts. Now that
he has become a renowned medium (appearing on numerous talk
shows, including Larry King Live), Edwards has written an
entertaining "my life as a psychic" type of autobiography,
packed with fascinating true stories. At the same time, Edward
offers an engaging self-help book, teaching readers how to
visit a medium and even showing seekers how they can recognize
and develop their own psychic abilities. --Gail Hudson

Beyond
These Four Walls: Diary of a Psychic Medium
Maryrose Occhino
Born to a family of "intuitive" women, MaryRose Occhino uses
her "celestial whispers" to open the minds and the hearts
of everyone who has sought out her remarkable abilities as
a link to loved ones who have passed on. But her powers also
became her connection to the outside world-both real and spiritual-after
she struggled through an isolation that grew out of her diagnosis
of multiple sclerosis at the age of thirty-nine.
Filled
with startling revelations, this fascinating book is also
MaryRose's own inspiring true story-from the recognition of
her gifts as a child, to their nurturing by her mother and
grandmother, to her current standing as an extraordinary psychic
medium who uses her abilities to help us see beyond the walls,
and beyond the limits...not only to look into the next world,
but to make the most of life in the here and now.

Miriam
the Medium
Rochelle Jewel Shapiro
In the tradition of Susan Isaacs comes a charming debut novel
featuring a lovable phone psychic, whose talents will either
save her family from financial ruin -- or ruin her family
altogether
What do
you do when your husband's business is failing, your daughter
is ashamed of you, and your faith in your own talents hits
rock bottom? Miriam is a modern-day Long Island housewife,
who just happens to be a professional phone psychic. But while
she can heal broken hearts, mend relationships, and help others
find new careers, her own life is in shambles.
It starts
with the family business. Her husband, Rory, is working every
spare minute to keep his business, Mirror Pharmacy, afloat,
but no matter what cost-saving measures he takes, a profit
seems farther and farther away. Using her gift, Miriam tries
to channel to the heart of the problem, but Rory's patience
with her "readings" has worn as thin as his cash flow. Then
there is Miriam's teenage daughter, Cara, who cannot stand
to be in the same room with her, much less listen to any psychically
generated advice. Now involved with a particularly bad-news
boyfriend, she's too in love to take Miriam's warnings seriously.
Miriam struggles to maintain a positive outlook -- things
are bad, but they can always be worse, goes her mantra. So
when a persistent agent proclaims her talents remarkable and
marketable, Miriam decides to take action. But will going
public ruin her family's already questionable standing in
their prim Long Island community? And will her trusted spirits
-- her dear departed Dad and Russian grandmother, Bubbie --
remain faithful if she "sells out"? Miriam struggles to sort
through her escalating troubles and trust her abilities in
times of crisis, even as her visions are becoming too cloudy
to interpret.
In a quirky
tale full of humor and heartache, Rochelle Shapiro captures
the universal desire to find one's true self, no matter the
opinions of others. Smart and sassy, Miriam the Medium is
the debut of a talented and imaginative author -- one who
is able to conjure with words and spirit.

Psychic
Diaries: Connecting With Who You Are, Why You're Here, and
What Lies Beyond
Lysa Moskowitz-Mateu
"She's dead." I am jumpy. Sweating. Scrambling for thoughts.
My body is shaking.
I move
closer to the TV to get a good look at her face."Yes. She
is definitely dead." What would you do if the person you loved
most in the world kissed you good-bye one morning and then
never came home?
When someone
we love suddenly dies, none of that other "stuff" matters.
It doesn't matter that our house is a mess or work is hectic
or the deal fell through or "they" didn't call. Death awakens
us. It sweeps us off our feet, knocks us to the ground, and
reminds us of what's truly important.
But Psychic
Diaries is not about death. It's about life -- about learning
how to say good-bye to one form of life and hello to another,
about connecting with the dead to bring inspiration and insight
to the living, about moving forward when everything inside
of us wants to stop, about pushing past self-imposed limits
and finding out what we're made of when life tests us to the
core.
When we're
kids, we listen to our inner voice without hesitation. But
as we get older, that voice gets quieter and quieter until
it seemingly disappears. Our journey is about reclaiming that
voice, about listening to what it has to say and allowing
it to be heard.
We all
want to live a life that matters, one at which we can look
back and say, "I'm really proud of myself. I lived, I loved,
and I left something of value behind."Psychic Diaries takes
you on an amazing journey to answer questions you never thought
could be answered, revealing astonishing insights and important
life lessons from the spirits, the people for whom they came,
and the extraordinary medium in the middle.

How
to Get a Good Reading from a Psychic Medium: Get the Most
Out of Your Contact With the Other Side
Carole Lynne
How To Get A Good Reading From A Psychic Medium was born from
Carole Lynne's desire to help her own potential clients, plus
the thousands of people interested in contacting those who
have gone to live in the world of spirit, know what to expect
from a reading with a medium. For the grieving, the curious,
the skeptical but desperate, Lynne offers straightforward,
plain talk about what mediums can and can't do, and how to
prepare to get the most out of an encounter with the world
of spirit.
Chapters
on "The great and not such great reasons to see a medium,"
"Where to find a good medium," and "How long is a reading
and what does it cost" explain the very practical elements
of dealing with a spirit communicator. "This is not a scientific
book," writes Lynne. "I'm not going to try to prove anything
to you." But she does dispense invaluable advice about getting
the most out of working with a mediu. Whta questions should
you ask? When should you listen? When should you talk? What
can you do with the information you get? Answers to all these
questions, and so many more.
There
is no other palce where readers will find such useful advice
about how to evaluate a reading and what to do with the evidence
and advice they might receive. Unlike many, Lynne doesn't
set herself up as a guru and advises against treating any
reading from any medium that way. Her wise counsel: Trust
yourself. You are the one who knows best what this reading
means in your life.

Ghost
Stalker: A Psychic Medium Visits America's Most Haunted Sites
Michelle Whitedove
THIS BOOK WILL GRAB YOU AND NOT LET GO!, May 19, 2003 Amazon.com
Reviewer: THIS BOOK WILL GRAB YOU AND NOT LET GO! Be prepared
to read the whole book once you start because you won't want
to put it down until you finish it! I met Michelle Whitedove
when she was doing research for this book at The Lodge in Cloudcroft,
New Mexico where I work. I found her to be a very exciting and
intriguing person. Ms Whitedove has the uncanny ability to include
you in the saga as you travel with her, so that you experience
what she experiences as she travels from California to Louisiana
visiting famed "haunted places" in Ghost Stalker. In many places
you can feel the hair on your neck stand up as you participate
in the adventure! I am very honored that Ms Whitedove saw fit
to include my non-fiction short story, "The Unruly Guest on
Friday the Thirteenth" in Ghost Stalker. |
Psychics,
Mediums & Ghost Stories: True Tales of the Supernatural
Edward Kwiatkowski
People are looking for something that would fortify their belief,
that there is something more than this life. My short ghost
stories are very convincing that there is such a life, because
they show the interaction of humans and the other world of life
after death. |
Angels
Are Talking: A Psychic Medium Relays Messages from the Heavens
Michelle Whitedove
Michele Whitdove's book was recommended by a friend. From the
onstart of the book, I could not put it down. It's truly an
enlighting experience into the most questioned topic about life
after death. She communicates her messages very clearly and
precise. There's no room for questioning, "What did she mean
by that". After reading this book I immediately ordered the
other books Michele had written. |

Looking
for the Other Side: The Extraordinary Adventures of a Skeptical
Journalist As She Explores the Non-Material World, Visting
Psychics, Mediums, Astrolgers, Tarot Readers, a
Sherry Suib Cohen
If you're going to write a book about worlds with no answers,
phenomenon that scientists can't explain and skeptics can't
fathom--you'd better do it with the right equipment--the eye
of a journalist, the voice of a novelist, an open mind and
compassionate heart. In Looking for the Other Side, writer
Sherry Suib Cohen is perfectly outfitted with these tools
in her exploration of the world of the occult.
It all
begins when Cohen, a journalist, takes an assignment to try
and contact the spirit of her deceased mom. In her searching,
she meets astrologers, past-life channelers, numerologists,
psychics, and a host of other practitioners eager to put her
in touch with her past, her future, and her heretofore unexplored
spiritual self.
"Cohen
will hook readers with her determination, wit, generosity
and astonishing willingness to try anything. In the end, her
personal odyssey becomes ours, and even the most devoted skeptics
will find themselves rethinking what might and what might
not be possible." --Betsy Carter, Editor-in-Chief, New Woman
magazine
"When
I saw the words know thyself carved above the Oracle's gate
at Delphi, I shivered--and didn't understand why. Now, I understand.
Knowing myself would mean suspending judgment, would mean
tapping into banks of information I never before thought relevant
to my pragmatic lifestyle. Well, I've tapped. This book is
the result," writes Sherry Suib Cohen.
And in
a spirited narrative, Cohen tells us about her experiences
wherein she confronts death, blame, forgiveness, faith, truth,
and family, in addition to Mom. When readers finish this personal
odyssey and guidebook into the unknown, they may decide, just
as Cohen did, that there's something to these otherwordly
spheres after all.

constant, quick and awesome! Perhaps the one and only at the

Born
With It: One Natural Born Psychic Medium's True Story
Cindy Marie
Ever see spirits when you were young?, February 1, 2004 Amazon.com
Reviewer: A reader:
After reading Cindy Marie's book, Born With It, you would be
mistaken to assume that a psychic has an easy life. In her sometimes
harrowing, sometimes humorous account, she tells the story of
how she dealt with her paranormal abilities while growing up,
beginning with how she began to see spirits as a child. That
may seem normal enough - we all 'see' ghosts in the closet and
'feel' there are devils under the bed when we are young. Cindy
Marie did too; only for her, they continued on through adulthood.
Imagine constantly seeing goblins, trolls, evil spirits, as
though you were trapped inside a Stephen King novel on a nightly
basis |
